A gold rectangular tabatiere, early 19th century

A rectangular snuffbox with rounded edges in chased gold. The hinged lid and base are decorated with ringed pastille linked together by crosses; the frame is decorated with a frieze of foliage and fruit scrolls and floral cups.
Gold hallmark: bull facing left with the number 3 for Paris 1819-1838.
Gold hallmark: head of Sardanapalus facing left in an oval for Paris 1819-1838.
