In mahogany and mahogany veneer, the almost circular top with a wide belt resting on a baluster shaft with cut sides separating into two sections revealing a central foot, four legs decorated with acanthus leaves ending in lion's paws.

With three mahogany veneered extensions.

François-Honoré-Georges JACOB was the son of the famous cabinetmaker Georges Jacob. After the death of his brother in 1803, François-Honoré-Georges added the name "Desmalter" (family property in Burgundy) to his surname, and formed a new partnership with his father.
