Elegant mahogany pedestal table with adjustable rack mechanism encircled by an openwork gilt bronze gallery. It rests on a central octagonal shaft with a tripod base.
Engraved "255" and "15" under the top. Reverse "C" mark on the openwork belt.
This type of flying table, a lightweight piece of furniture that could be easily moved, was used as a tea table to hold a cup or as a light stand to hold a candelabra at the desired height.
