Moustiers earthenware plate with gadrooned rim, polychrome decoration of a hot-air balloon* in flight over a town, wing outlined with a yellow fillet.
Fabrique Féraud, circa 1786. 18th century.
Testu Bressy's ascent (June 13, 1786) from Luxembourg. On the left of the basket, the coat of arms of France and, emanating from the end of the iron rod holding the aeronaut, the spray of fire indicating the presence of positive electricity. Cf.
