Rare torch-stand, Louis XIV period

Rare gildwood, moulded and carved torch-stand. It stands on a shaft decorated with whorls of foliage and mantle, and resting itself on three feet carved with curves and countercurves.
Louis XIV period.
Customary restoration, splinters in the glinding.
H. 168 x D 58 cm
