Bronze statue published in the early twentieth century (1900/1920) depicting a Knight Templar proudly holding his sword. On the base appears the name of the sculptor Maurice Constant, and in a cartouche the title of the work: "Le Preux". Original brown and silver patina, carved hands and face, slight wear of age, beautiful general condition. Maurice Constant Favre (1875/1919) sculptor and engraver, his creations were exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1896 to 1914.
