Louis XVI vase clock "Aux dauphins" Brécourt model

White marble ovoid-shaped vase clock adorned with a fountain with two dolphins in gilded and chiseled bronze foliage. Bronze pedestal on a square white marble base. Enamel dial signed Philibert in Paris. Wire suspension. Louis XVI period. Model made in 1775 by the bronzier Brécourt. Antoine-Marie Philibert, watchmaker received master in Paris on December 20, 1776. Referenced at Place du Pont St Michel in 1800, Rue de la Vieille Boucherie in 1810 and Rue de la Barillerie in 1820.
