Sideboard in walnut early 17th century

Magnificent chest of two recessed bodies in solid walnut from the early 17th century.
The upper body as well as the lower body each open to two molded doors as well as two drawers alternating with beautifully sculpted angel heads.
They are adorned with an identical decoration on the uprights, the frames as well as the top crosspiece composed of garlands and foliage of great finesse of execution.
This piece of furniture is topped with a large pediment with three spinning tops. In its center, we discover a niche surrounded by four columns presenting a pretty little virgin and child in ivory.
This highly architectural pediment is adorned with plants, rosettes, ram's heads and bird heads.
The peacock feather or bird penne motif on the side uprights, typical of Renaissance decorations, allows us to date this sideboard from the very beginning of the 17th century.
This very decorative piece of furniture rests on "rave" feet surmounted by a molded cornice;
It testifies to a great aesthetic quality harmoniously combining rigor, sobriety and elegance.
