Oil lamp made of green serpentine “Egyptian style”

Longitudinal oval oil lamp vessel with retracted foot, formed from a trunk of bundled palm leaves in the style of a leaf capitale with four modeled lion claws. The lamp handle in the form of a dragon's head. At the spout centrally a bull's head, in the vessel a round inner bowl, above it a slightly vaulted lid. The rectangular pedestal of shell marble on white Carrara marble stele.
