Art Deco - Art Nouveau - Ceramics and Slip
The sculpture "Clarté" or "Lumina" by Max Le Verrier is an emblematic example of Art Deco aesthetics, standing at a height of 68 cm and embodying its magnificence.
It portrays CLARTE, the goddess of light, in the form of a cast iron woman holding a frosted and cracked glass luminous sphere at arm's length. The curved posture of the back and the head tilted backward create a perfect balance, forming a fluid line that embodies strength and grace.
Max Le Verrier created this model in various sizes (170 cm, 85 cm, 68 cm, and 38 cm).
This is a posthumous cast iron edition, including its original glass globe.
