17th century Flemish painting, Allegory of taste

Jan Cossiers, born in Antwerp around 1600, was a Flemish Baroque painter whose artistic journey flourished in the 17th century. Trained in the workshop of Peter Paul Rubens, Cossiers absorbed the dynamic and expressive qualities characteristic of his master's style.
